“Beautiful heritage hotel in the heart of downtown with a great ambience and staff. Amenities provided are everything you would need on a trip, including wifi. The room Aircon is a standalone unit, which tends to blow right at the bed, so you might turn it down at night. I enjoyed my stay here.”
“The Continental Hotel is always one of my first recommendations for friends and family visiting Appanoose County, but my main point of this review is to share how great it is for couples getting married in our around Centerville to utilize. We booked a two bedroom suite for our bridal party to get ready in for our November wedding-- we were getting married down the street at The Majestic Theater. The suite was beautifully kept, well stocked and so much bigger than you'd think they would be. There was a time that probably 15 people were in the room and it didn't feel overwhelming or crammed. Our hairstylist & makeup artist also noted that there was great natural light for helping us get ready, something they usually don't see in hotels. Their staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgable and helpful. They also allowed us to order snacks from the restaurant that were delivered right up to our room in more sharing-friendly formats (Ex: smaller croissants for chicken salad sandwiches) Bonus Points: Their gorgeous bar is a great place for groomsmen photos!”
“Place is awesome. Our room was excellent space with a bedroom, living room, kitchen, and bathroom. Service was excellent as I needed a late checkout and they were more than accommodating to do it. My only complaints is the bed was a little too soft for my preference and the air control felt a little light with air flow. I would definitely stay here again 100%! They also offer a bfast and have a restaurant attached”
“Rooms were updated and nice. Staff was awesome. Only reason for a 4 was the walls were paper thin. Could here conversations of rooms in same area and the pipes banged alot randomly. Old building so I get it but overall I was very satisfied with my stay!”
